What to Bring
1. Identification Documents
Make sure to bring valid identification to verify your identity and complete registration:
For Turkish citizens: National ID (T.C. Kimlik Kartı)
For international patients: Passport (with valid visa, if required)
A copy of your passport is also recommended in case it’s needed for insurance or billing purposes
2. Health Insurance Documents (if applicable)
If you’re using health insurance:
Bring your insurance card or certificate
Any authorization letter, treatment guarantee, or claim form issued by your insurance company
Contact information of your insurance representative in case the hospital needs to confirm coverage
Note: If you’re unsure about insurance coverage, our patient coordinators can assist you before your appointment.
3. Medical Records and Test Results
To avoid duplicate testing and help your doctor fully understand your medical history, bring:
Recent blood tests, imaging results (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound)
Specialist reports or surgical history from other hospitals
Medication prescriptions
Allergy test results
Vaccination records (especially for children, international travelers, or surgery patients)
If your records are in a different language, having a translated summary in English or Turkish is helpful but not mandatory.
4. Medications
Bring a list of all medications you currently take, including:
Dosage and frequency
Brand or generic name
Herbal or over-the-counter supplements
If you’re staying overnight, bring your own medications in original packaging
Important: Let your doctor know if you take blood thinners, insulin, heart medications, or anything that may affect your procedure.

5. For Surgical or Overnight Patients
If you’re scheduled for surgery or an inpatient stay, pack:
Comfortable sleepwear and a change of clothes
Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, towel, hairbrush, etc.)
Slippers or indoor shoes
Phone charger and necessary personal devices
Glasses or contact lens supplies (if used)
Any mobility aids (cane, walker, etc.) if needed
The hospital will provide bedding, hospital gowns, and meals.
6. For Pediatric Patients
If you’re accompanying a child:
Bring the child’s ID/passport and health records
Their favorite toy, blanket, or book for comfort
Diapers, baby bottles, or formula (if applicable)
Legal documents for guardian consent if the parent is not present
7. Items You Should Not Bring
To maintain safety and prevent loss:
Do not bring valuables such as large sums of cash, expensive jewelry, or luxury electronics
Avoid wearing metal items or accessories on the day of imaging or surgery
No flammable, sharp, or hazardous items allowed inside hospital rooms
The hospital is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
