When the unexpected happens, our Emergency Department is ready — day or night, rain or shine. We know how scary and overwhelming a medical emergency can be, and our job is to make sure you or your loved one gets the fastest, safest, and most compassionate care possible.

The team here is made up of experienced doctors, nurses, and support staff who’ve seen it all and know how to act fast. We’re equipped with modern tools, but more importantly, we know how to listen, reassure, and move quickly when it matters most.

Whether it’s a broken arm, chest pain, a high fever, or something you just can’t explain — you’re not alone. We’re here 24/7, not just as medical professionals, but as people who care.

Emergency Department – First Class Hospital

The Emergency Department at First Class Hospital is built for rapid response, expert care, and patient-centered support — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether it’s a medical crisis, trauma, or a condition that just can’t wait, our team and facilities are ready to act immediately.

Department Layout & Facilities:

  • 8 private examination rooms for patients with non-life-threatening conditions

  • 1 fully equipped trauma room, with overhead surgical lighting and wall-mounted resuscitation gear

  • 1 resuscitation bay for critical cases, featuring advanced life-support systems

  • 2 observation beds for short-term monitoring (up to 24 hours)

  • 1 negative-pressure isolation room for infectious or airborne illness management

  • 2 pediatric-friendly beds in a quieter section, designed to reduce stress for children and their families

  • 1 triage zone staffed at all times for rapid patient assessment upon arrival

Technology & Medical Equipment:

  • Continuous cardiac and vital sign monitors in all critical rooms

  • Mechanical ventilators, suction units, and infusion pumps readily available

  • Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) for immediate bedside diagnostics

  • Digital X-ray access directly within the ED, with portable ultrasound for mobility

  • Nearby CT scanner with emergency imaging priority

  • On-site emergency lab access with stat blood and chemistry panels processed in under 30 minutes

  • Automated medication dispensing units for timely and secure access to life-saving drugs

  • Integrated Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for real-time updates and fast internal referrals

Staffing and Expertise:

  • Emergency care provided by board-certified emergency physicians, registered nurses, and on-call specialists

  • Advanced trauma life support (ATLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certified staff on every shift

  • Dedicated radiology and lab technicians assigned to support emergency cases

  • Access to cardiology, neurology, surgery, OB-GYN, and ICU teams for immediate collaboration

  • Crisis counselor and social worker available during peak hours for emotional and family support

Support Services:

  • Separate ambulance entrance with direct path to resuscitation and trauma areas

  • Family waiting area close to treatment zones, with regular updates and private support rooms

  • Emergency pharmacy stocked with critical care medications, antidotes, and injectables

  • Telemedicine access for quick specialist consultation, including stroke response and toxicology

Our Emergency Department is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing immediate medical care for patients with urgent or life-threatening conditions.

When Should You Visit the Emergency Department?

You should come directly to the Emergency Department if you or someone else is experiencing any of the following:

  • Chest pain or pressure that may indicate a heart attack

  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath

  • Severe abdominal pain or bleeding

  • Sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body

  • Loss of consciousness or fainting

  • High fever in infants or small children

  • Severe allergic reactions (swelling of face/lips, difficulty breathing)

  • Serious injuries or accidents (including head trauma or fractures)

  • Seizures or convulsions

  • Heavy or uncontrolled bleeding

  • Poisoning or drug overdose

Note: If you are unsure whether your condition is an emergency, it is better to come and be evaluated by a medical professional.

The Emergency Department is located on the Ground Floor, East Wing of the hospital. Upon arrival, please follow the signs marked “Emergency” or ask any staff member for directions.

Patients are seen based on medical urgency, not order of arrival. Our triage team will assess your condition upon arrival and prioritize care accordingly.

  • We are fully equipped to handle both adult and pediatric emergencies.

  • Please bring any medical documents or medications if available.

  • No appointment is needed for emergency care.
